About The Course
In the course, you will learn the staffs, clef symbols, notes and rests, time signatures, ties, slurs, and the fundamentals of sight-reading. You will learn how to read and play several piano pieces including Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy (theme from Symphony no. 9)” and Mozart’s “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.” Included with the course is over 2 hours of on-demand video lessons, and a comprehensive 22-page lesson book which includes sheet music for the arrangements and activities that help reinforce concepts learned. Please note that if you are brand new to the piano, I recommend starting first with my other course, Introduction to Playing Piano, which covers starting basics that are helpful before advancing into reading sheet music.
